Amanda Got Married

We spend the last two days celebrating. Amanda married Jeff today. We are happy for them and think they make a good pair. Last night we got a babysitter for TD and took TM to the wedding dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial building. It was a wonderful event.

TD did just fine with the babysitter. I called to check in on them all and found out we had hardly been missed! It was the first offical night with a babysitter other then my mom (who does a wonderful job at that!).

The wedding was in the Salt Lake Temple. Our Grandpa did the wedding. It was lovely. While we were in at the wedding we left TD and TM outside the temple with the Maggelets. Again, we weren't missed long. TD spend most of the day saying "nana" which mean Amanda. And liked to be held by her, despite her need to be taking pictures!

The reception was the the Lion House and the weather (for it being fall) was just beautiful. Not too hot and not to cold. One couldn't have asked for better weather. We had fun until TD started to get tired and have a melt down. So, off we went home.

First trip to the Utah State Fair

Since Danny has been gone to Nigeria for the last 5 weeks we have had some fun of our own. I took TD and TM to the Utah State fair with Grandmum and Papa. Auntie Amanda and her fiance Jeff came too. TD loved seeing the animals from a distance. When we saw the cows he said, "booooo". He hasn't quite figured out "Boo" versus "Moo" yet but close enough. And when we saw the horses he clicked his tongue to mimic a horse galloping.

He also got to try on a cowboy hat.

Here we go....

Apparently blogging is the new way to keep in touch with friends and family. I guess it is about time I joined in the new craze. I hope you will all enjoy this blogspot as much as we will.

So... here we go.....

TD and TM best of friends

TD and TM best of friends
Now that TM has been around for a while now TD has taken more of an interest in his baby brother. At first TD didn't pay much attention to the new member of the family but now it is nonstop kisses and pats on the head and on the face. Unfortuately they tend to be harder then they should be! TD is 15 months old and TM is 7 weeks old in this picture.
